A  Tale of Two Bike Builds * Photo Feature.

-by Chris Canton, owner, CC Custom Leatherworks

My latest build is in progress and has taken place over a several year period.  Again, lots of priorities in between but its moving forward just the same.  The '84 Ironhead Sportster project has seen several iterations, until that fateful day when I got hold of the "hacksaw" (actually the saws-all) and decided to hardtail it in traditional custom bobber manner.  It gave me an opportunity to develop further my welding skills and come to turns with no turning back! Indeed, this saga continues - Its more or less ready for paint!

With the '81 Yamaha Virago xv750 project it was more or less the kickoff from a 13-year haitus from not having much to do with motorcycles.  I had relocated from Texas to Indiana and then Florida and back to Indiana, and during that time motorcycling just was not a priority. Evidently I was a bike enthusiast at heart all along!
